Timing

Timing is important in all aspects of our lives.  

Timing is important in sport.  

Timing is important when cooking.  

Timing is important for baking a cake.  

Timing is important when flying a plane.  

Timing is important when planting seed.  Timing is important when harvesting.  

Timing is important for putting a matter across to someone.  

Timing is important for Formula 1 drivers, mechanics, the whole team.... the list goes on....  

When we get our timing wrong, the goal is missed, the cake gets burnt, the plane is endangered, the seed won't grow, the harvest will ruin, the race will be lost.  Timing is therefore important. 

Timing is also very important to God.  

Romans 5:6

"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for us sinners."

The Bible also tells us:

2 Corinthians 6:2 

"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

Not tomorrow, not days/years down the line....but now!   

Life is all about timing.  We don't know what the next hour/day/week/month holds.  We don't know what time we have left in this world other than now.   

When you call out to God in sincerity, he will save you and you will go to heaven when you die. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (see Romans 10:13) .  

We don't need fancy words or prayers just a desire to know God....and the necessary timing!  Don't wait and get the timing wrong when it comes to the most important decision you will ever make.  God's spirit will not always strive with man (see Genesis 6:3).

Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."
