The axe has now fallen!

Sitting at my computer this morning, the words "The axe has now fallen" came into my mind!  Very strange, I thought.  I had been praying about what I should post on this week's blog post.  I Googled the words and found the post below written by William Thomson.

The Axe Has Fallen! by William Thompson

This Word was given to me on Oct. 7, 2016 at 2:30 P.M.

“The axe has fallen! The axe has fallen! The axe goes to the root of the problem. It has laid bare what was hidden. It has exposed the root sin! This is the sin of religious idolatry! What idolatry you ask? It is the idolatry of My people who have been playing with Me! They have been comfortable in their sins and playing “church” with Me! They think that I cannot see or that I have given them permission to continue to live as they have been! But, it has been My Mercy that has continued to allow them to CHOOSE!

The time of that extended mercy is over! I have loosed into the spiritual the prophetic axe to lay bare the sins of My people! It has begun already and yet you have not perceived it! Now it will manifest into the natural!

The time to come before Me in true humility to repent is now! My judgments are surely coming to purge My people! Look at your own hearts! Remove your false idols before Me! And I will yet forgiven you of your sins! Turn to Me now!”

As I was reading in Matthew 3:7-12, I saw in the spirit the axe of God!

“…I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I , whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Hosea 14:1-7 1Return, Israel, to the LORD your God. Your sins have been your downfall! 2Take words with you and return to the LORD. Say to him: "Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit of our lips. 3Assyria cannot save us; we will not mount warhorses. We will never again say 'Our gods' to what our own hands have made, for in you the fatherless find compassion." 4"I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them. 5I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily. Like a cedar of Lebanon he will send down his roots; 6his young shoots will grow. His splendor will be like an olive tree, his fragrance like a cedar of Lebanon. 7People will dwell again in his shade; they will flourish like the grain, they will blossom like the vine- Israel's fame will be like the wine of Lebanon.
